The Patrol Meeting is a gathering of a patrol in a much more informal setting than the larger Troop Meeting. In addition to allowing the boys a chance to interact and have fun, the meetings will generally have a specific focus. Maybe the Patrol Leader will be teaching First Aid so the patrol gets some practice in the months leading up to the First Aid Meet. The meeting might also be practice for the Birthday or drilling. Many meetings are tailored specifically toward advancing the scouts in the patrol and will work on the requirements they need. A patrol should attempt to hold at least one patrol meeting a month and patrol members should try to make as many meetings as possible.
