Justin Hood, the son of Richard Hood, spent the early portion of his Scouting career in Fox Patrol before being transferred into the Lion Patrol where he served as Patrol Leader for the 2008-2009 Troop Year alongside Scott Meltzer. On Staff Justin served as Quartermaster before reaching the position of Senior Patrol Leader for 2010-2011 and the Troop's 100th Birthday.
Justin is an Ordeal member of the Order of the Arrow and a member of the Man Scouts. He has completed the BSA High Adventure Bases Triple Crown. At Camp Horseshoe he is credited with starting the mohawk haircut tradition and was awarded the Silver Buckle in 2009. Justin has also earned numerous awards including the Senior Patrol Leader's Award and several Duty Medals. He was also a member of the Drum and Bugle Corps.
